Intel made first samples at 45 nm

Intel have first processor samples made by 45 nm technology. That should allow them to be faster, have bigger cache, consume less power etc. Those processors bears name Penrym, and they are in facxt Core 2 duo just made by new process. Samples are now in hands of designers, need to be tested if all work as it is supposed. Intel will probably fulfill promise, that first 45 nm processors will be sold in this quartal. Hope it, because they are promising.
