BrightSide have new display

Brightside technologies announced they have finished manufacturinf prototypes of theri new EDR (Extreme Dynamic Range) LCD display. Its new technology allows it to have high Luminosity (3000 cd/m2)but due to its exteremly high contrast (200 000:1) it have real black color. But it has also its disadvantages. Power consumption is about 1600W and it should cost slightly less than 50 000 dollars.
