Power cell fuelled by blood

Japanese scientists developed biological power cell using glucose from blood to gain electricity. Acording to research team leader professor Matsuhiko Nishizawa, that cell uses blood sugar together with non toxic chemical compound to free electrons from glucose.
He said that those fuel cells are safe and harmless to human organism. They are using vitamin k3 from human blood as mediator to transfer the charge. Those cells can in future serve as power source for blood sugar level counting devices, or perhaps cardio stimulator. I dont know how to you, but when i hear this, i must remember Matrix.
