Probable time when Intel Merom processors will appear on market is September. They will be manufactured on 65 nm, and contain new architecture (not like P4) which bring 64 bit instructions, high computing power and low power consumption. Just hope that it will be really true, not like P4s which are much more owen than processor.
Before some time Apple shocked by announcing that their new computers will be based on Intel processors. Although that message seems unprobable, it is true, now Apple really introduced computer based on Intel DUo processor. By Apple even one core is faster than IBM chips, two cores should be aprox 3 times more powerfull. Strange, when Apple used IBM, all said that their chips are much more powerfull. Just wait how it will look in reality, and how much power will consume program called Rosetta, which should allow run aplications made for IBM processors on x86 architecture.
Planning together special serie of noteboks manufactured by Asus and designed by Lamborgini. Serie will exist in two colour versions, yellow and black and it should represent connection of two companies, each of it top in its domain. No technical specifications are known, but that should change soon, probably in this week. Hm, i think it will be expensive because of those big names, cheaper notebook will probably do same work.
