R580 coming soon

By David Orton, chief for technologies in ATI, their new graphical chip R580 is going to be released soon, probably between january and february. Lets wait how it will be in real, but rummors are that this chip will be really fast, containing at least 48 shaders, and probably will run on very high frequencies. ATI also promised that situation when new chips are unavailable in shops. They said that thsoe will be manufactured in big quantities.

Processor conroe first seen

Photos of new Intel processor named Conroe appeared on http://x86-secret.com/ and by them entire core should take up about 150mm2, which means that this processor can be pretty cheap. Tögether with news, that AMD have still supply problems it can mean that Intel will again eat big market share.
