Microsoft today released developers version of DirectX 10 for developers. It should be for normal users available together with their new windows Vista, probably with betaversion 2. Just hope games will run better under them, but i think, that it will cause only problems as all previous versions.
Those server FB-DIMM consist of 32 chips, 16 on each side. They are mean to be used in servers, and their price will be probably abut 1200$, which mean about 10K $ for fully occupied server with 8 memory sockets, but in server meaning this is not so much.
Why are keyoards lately so poor? They dont endure much than year, (when really used) my last crashed before few minutes. Great, i have to use tonight that old bad piece from my server and than tommorrow instead of eorking go to buy new one. Be happy when your comp is working without problems.
Until now, intel gains 1,5$ from every Intel chipset made by SIS, but this will end now. Intel decided to make this step because they feared that lack of cheap chipsets can convince people to use AMD instead of Intel. 1,5$ seems to be only little fee, but, all chipset cost 15-25$, so its pretty big share.
