Woodcrest

Finally revealed. And it seems that Intel finally made progress in processors, because its really as effecient as promised. Piece which was send to Tech Report worked on 3ghz, and was slightly faster than Opteron 285. It works with new FB DIMM memories, and even with those memories (they are so power hungry, that they need active cooling) is TDP less than with previous processors. And that is good for all, because when dual cored processor eat less than single core, there have to be significant improvement in power consumption. Lets just wait to see, if so powerfull will be all new processors, or Intel released special piece for testing, and others will be significantly worse.
