2 Gb DDR2 from Elpida

Elpida memory announced taht they are starting supply market with 2 gb DDR2 memories, for using into servers and computers with extreme performance. They are being made by 80nm process in fab E300 in Hiroshima. Memories work on frequiencies 533 667 and 800 Mhz, and full manufacturing and supplying should be in Q1 2006.

Dell have to replace 35000 batteries

Dell have problems with batteris for notebooks. Problem is with pieces manufactured in CHina and Japan between October 2004 and October 2005. They are overheating and so can cause problems. Problem is with batteries supplied to Inspiron, Latitude and Precision.
